This has been a slow week but a good week and I remembered to write in my journal so, my email will be pretty good this week!

On Monday we taught the 1st lesson to this guy that we met at church. He just sort of showed up! Well when we went to teach him he lives in a group home for crazy people… Which is sort of like a mini insane Asylum. We walk in and he is sitting on the couch staring at the TV and the TV was just static. It was the weirdest thing ever. AND there was this guy sitting in the corner, just facing the corner all casual like! I was SO uncomfortable! But we started teaching the lesson and he was NUTS! He was talking about how because he has 5 different black belts his hands and feet are registered with the government as weapons and that Jesus Christ is his twin soul and he is the second coming Messiah! At the end of the lesson we asked him to say the closing prayer and his prayer was 25 MINUTES LONG! I was almost falling asleep. He talked about how he was a pitcher and Jesus Christ was his catcher and God was the Umpire. How he was a black belt and Jesus Christ was only a purple belt and Jesus Christ was jealous of his black belt. He was super nuts! Also he is going to D.C. next week to get the American flag redesigned. He changed the stars to be red yellow brown black and white to show the diversity of this nation, and they are going to be put in every church across the nation! But yeah that was just monday…
On Tuesday there was an Eagle Court of Honor for 3 of the young men in our ward and I got to sit in the eagle’s nest #Cacaw!! and our phone exploded!!… with referrals from church headquarters. Like 25 of them!
Wednesday I was on exchanges with the Zone Leaders and we tried to contact all of the referrals that we had just received and NO ONE was home but we had some solid street contacts and got chased by a guy with no legs on his power wheel chair!
On Thursday and Friday Elder Rushton was sick and it SUCKED!! I was bouncing off the walls like a mad man!  I have never been so bored in my life!  I cleaned and danced and did pushups and studied and danced and cried and yeah. By the end of it I had a tie wrapped around my head and I was just so crazy!!
But Friday Night IT RAINED A LOT. IT WAS SO COOL! We drove through a puddle and water came up over the hood of the car! It was so awesome! and I WORE MY RAIN JACKET It was beautiful!
Saturday was a pretty standard day of working We met this super cool guy
his name is wally and I have to go but just know that this was a good week!

I’m losing Elder Perrins! He is getting sent to one of the wealthiest parts of Vegas and I’m still in the good ol ghetto! I pick up my new companion tomorrow morning. His name is Elder Rushton and he is also from Washington.

This week was pretty slow! We only had 1 new investigator this week until Sunday night. We miraculously picked up 2 new.
This week we tried to give this guy a Finding Faith in Christ pass along card, but he wouldn’t take it because Jesus wasn’t black on the card. He got really angry about our white Jesus. He just went off for like 5 minutes! He used every swear word I knew existed and then some more! He was super crazy!
I had a local Las Vegas delicacy this week! Carne Asada fries. It’s fries covered in chopped steak, beans, sals,a sour cream, guac, cheese and hapiness! It was super good!

That’s pretty much all that happened this week! The work is going and hopefully I’ll have a baptism this week

This week we had LOTS of meetings. Zone Conference which was 7 hours long! It was an amazing experience but oh man I was fried after that! The next day we had Zone Training Meeting which was only 3 hours but still just as exhausting!
This week we talked to a guy that said he had been abducted by aliens! He showed us a scar on his arm and said that’s where they put the tracking device in him. The aliens are watching over him as we speak! He also talked about how the aliens told him that the pyramids were built from the top down!

One of our investigators Angela got married to a less active member in our ward! It was awesome!

Last night, we went and saw Alex Boye speak about his conversion. He was one of the only black guys in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir!

One of our investigators that we thought was gone for good, just got out of prison. He went to church in his raiders slippers, because the police hadn’t given him his shoes back yet! He is such a champion!
